It's an Early Thanksgiving at the Salvation Army

  • The Chris Canty Foundation is thankful for one important blessing this holiday season:

On November 16, 2011 The Chris Canty Foundation the foundation and its volunteers will gather at the Salvation Army (534 Spratt Street) in Charlotte to feed an estimated 250 homeless women and their families Thanksgiving dinner.

Understanding that holidays like Thanksgiving bring more focus to the gap between the fortunate and less fortunate, the foundation looks forward to offering a meal to those who might otherwise miss the taste of a turkey dinner.
