Thanksgiving in Charlotte, NC November 16, 2011
Holidays like Thanksgiving bring more focus to the gap between the fortunate and less fortunate. Without feeding initiatives, the wonderful taste of a turkey dinner would not be possible for homeless people. On November 16, 2011, the Chris Canty Foundation will be working with the Salvation Army, located on Spratt Street in Charlotte, NC, to feed an estimated 250 homeless women and children to ensure the spirit of giving is shared with the less fortunate.
